KEYLAND Technological Demonstrator
Burgos.
Demonstrator number 25

Description
The demonstrator is based on the integration of collaborative and mobile robotics solutions (KUKA AMR, PRAMAC forklift, DOOSAN E 0509 Series cobot with NSF certification for the food industry, KUKA cobot, and Synersight AGV) with industrial software (SAP ERP, AVEVA MES, Remote by Keyland) and its middleware K-ISS: Integration System Software.
The result is a seamless integration that optimizes operational efficiency, streamlines processes through robotics, reduces costs and raises quality in the industry. With this demo they not only show their technical capability, but also their commitment to industrial innovation.
Innovative aspects
One of the great challenges that industrial companies face today is to integrate their fleet of mobile and collaborative robots with the different 4.0 technologies implemented, such as ERPs, global plant management systems MES/MOM, maintenance (CMMS), warehouse management (WMS), etc. Keyland has developed a middleware called K-ISS that allows the interconnection of all these information systems with the different robots that facilitate the day to day production processes, such as the transport of components and/or finished product within the plant or warehouse, or the automation of packaging at the end of the line.
All the systems with which K-ISS is currently integrated use standard communication protocols: API-REST, MQTT, MODBUS, OPC-UA, ETHERNET-IP, PROFINET, and even BBDD. This together with small developments tailored to the needs of customers make the integration is complete between all of them. But the most important thing has been to be able to include people. By exposing an API-REST any plant operator can interact with any part of the system actively by simply implementing an interface to connect to it from any computer, tablet or cell phone that is within the network.
