The vast majority of applications come from technology SMEs, including a good number of startups focused on Industry 4.0 developments. There is also representation from technology and knowledge centers.

Main Industry 4.0 Demonstrator Technologies

By technologies, advanced robotics and industrial sensors, as well as Artificial Intelligence applications in its multiple facets: intelligent devices, management/control/monitoring systems, and digital twins stand out. Systems for 3D visualization of virtual elements also occupy a large space among the candidates for demonstrators.

As a novelty, this year the Expo will integrate 5G technology demonstrators focused on industry, for which it has also received excellent nominations.

A maximum of 38-40 stands (depending on the space required by the candidate demonstrators) will be allocated through this procedure.

The final decision on the chosen demonstrator spaces will be made public by July 30, 2023.
