DIH² is a network of 26 European Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs). It proposes the use of robotics to improve the way of manufacturing in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and to drive economic growth across the European Union. His role is to facilitate the connections that enable agile production in factories, where speed and versatility are essential to satisfy customer demand.

Currently, it brings together the 26 DIHs to generate innovation that maximises productivity and optimises agility in over 300,000 manufacturing SMEs and mid-caps across the European Union. DIHBU is a DIH member of the network.

His main goal is to grow the network to over 170 DIHs by 2022. Other of his aims include improving the cost-effectiveness of advanced robotics solutions and driving the growth of the robotics market.

The DIH² project is funded by Horizon 2020, the European Union research and innovation programme tasked with bringing great ideas from lab to market. Furthermore, the programme is at the heart of the Europe 2020 strategy, which pretends to achieve smart, sustainable and inclusive economic growth for the future of Europe. Also is supported by 35 organisations.

This network wants to generate innovation that maximises productivity and optimises agility in manufacturing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Mid-Caps across the European Union.
