Description
The demonstrator consists of a digital twin for racking systems, which enables advanced system management, improving efficiency, adaptability and safety in industrial environments.
Innovative aspects
- Execution of the system on a dedicated server accessible remotely. The information is communicated through a web socket and from the demonstrator only the inputs must be sent (buttons on the control panel or actions on valves) and this system will return them automatically with minimum latency from any device, whether virtual reality glasses or a computer, since the computing power is carried out on the server itself.
- FMI standard through modelica for the simulation and physical modeling of the racking system. This standard allows the modular integration of digital twins with each other in a simple way.
- Control of the simulation parameters through mixed reality. The commands and orders of the system are modified from the virtual environment in real time. This allows acting on the system without the need to be in person in front of the system, but with the same feedback.

Pilot implementations
The demonstrator comes from a real pilot in which this system has been implemented on a frigate.
