Abstract
The presentation focuses on presenting use cases for the implementation of digital twins in industrial environments, with combined technological elements, to achieve effective decision-making tools that are scalable, modular, and adaptable to different operating environments.
Two use cases will be presented in sectors such as water and infrastructure, based on architectures decoupled by microservices. This technological option allows for:
- Real-time data integration from distributed sensors
- Advanced event queue management, crucial for scenarios with high concurrency
- Physical simulation of the system for predictive analysis
- Interactive 3D visualization to facilitate operational monitoring
- Efficient management of databases that support decisions based on historical data and dynamic patterns
The benefits obtained in terms of operational efficiency, interoperability, and scalability will be highlighted, as well as the key lessons learned from each use case.
