Overview
POLO positivo is an industrial acceleration initiative located in Burgos that aims to promote talent, innovation and economic growth in the sector. It has seven promoter partners who offer different programs aimed at entrepreneurs, freelancers and SMEs, with the aim of developing industrial projects that generate employment and add value to the local productive fabric.
The promoters of this programme make available to selected entrepreneurs:
- Working spaces.
- Temporary accommodation for entrepreneurs not resident in Burgos during their participation in the programme.
- Specialized mentoring and own tools for the development of the business plan.
- Support tools such as training and communication.
- Access to different sources of finance to identify viable projects and start up new businesses.
Type of partner sought
- Entrepreneurs/ as in the industrial, technological or industry support services sector, promoters of initiatives-projects with an identified market opportunity.
- The projects should be developed and implemented in the province of Burgos, and should generate direct employment in this territory.
- Projects must offer an innovative response to an identified market need or expectation, and may focus this innovation on the product/service, process, organization, marketing…
Type of agreement sought
- Assessment and, if necessary, reorientation of the business idea/project in the preliminary appraisal interviews with experts.
- Advice on the development of the Business Plan according to a work plan, with the support of tutors and experts from the business world.
- The entrepreneur will have his own tools in the programme for the preparation of the business plan.
- Reinforcement of the viability of the project, providing resources (through a non-repayable instalment) for the realization of prototypes, pre-series, market studies, etc. when deemed necessary to ensure the viability of the project. The eligible limit for this concept is € 2,000 and it is estimated that a part of the cost will be self-financed by the entrepreneur. In the event that the amount of development of the prototype is higher, a repayable financing tranche will be assessed.
- Assistance in setting up and operating the enterprise. Support to the entrepreneurs through the tutors of the legal area in the choice of the most appropriate company model and help in the processing and constitution before the different administrations for its implementation.
- Communication actions to help make visible the businesses that develop in the program with presence in media and social networks.
- Facilitate direct liaison with other organizations, institutions and enterprises through a wide network of collaboration agreements to facilitate access on preferential terms to their facilities, facilities, support programmes, grants and funding.
