Challenge
GOGOA, a Basque SME in the robotic solutions development sector, starts a line of development of industrial exoskeletons through its spin-off CYBER HUMAN SYSTEMS, being the only manufacturer in Spain with its own technology.
GOGOA is initially contacted by DIHBU to know its potential to solve a specific technology request for exoskeletons in the industrial sector, from an local SME. After this first contact, GOGOA was expressed its need for support to locate new partners in other regions, with the aim of achieving technical cooperation agreements (Cyber-Human-Systems) and commercial distribution agreements.
Results / Impact
DIHBU studied the GOGOA partners request, promoted it in different forums and networks, and searched the ecosystem for companies that could respond to the profile sought, providing accurate information to the SME, and initiating negotiations with several companies. Finally, it made contact with OLPE INGENIERÍA, from Burgos, with whom it signed the desired collaboration agreement.
The tools used by DIHBU were:
- Direct search for SMEs in the local DIGIS3 ecosystem.
- Publication of demand profile in Matchmaking Industry 4.0 2024, identifying new potential partners and gaining visibility.
The results obtained were:
- Signing of a collaboration agreement between GOGOA / CYBER-HUMAN SYSTEMS and OLPE Ingeniería, by which OLPE INGENIERÍA becomes their main technical and commercial partner in Castilla y León, and one of their main partners in Spain, starting the cooperation successfully.
- As a result of this agreement, the companies, among other operations, are currently cooperating in an innovation project.
- Presentation of the case in the special EDIHs session of the Industry 4.0 2024 Technology Meeting.
- Presence of both companies at Advanced Factories 2024 Barcelona.
