Description
The Polea LAB project integrates a Robotics/Exoskeleton Lab and another industrial 5G Lab in Burgos, available to companies from Castilla y León who want to receive free technological demonstration services, customized testing of equipment, and scaling of new solutions. The project is financed by the Junta de Castilla y León.
Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 is a private non-profit entity, aimed at driving the digital and sustainable transformation of SMEs, through Industry 4.0 solutions. It is the owner of the POLEA LAB project.
At PoleaLab, we conduct proof-of-concept testing prior to industrialization, provide testing services in real-world scenarios, and analyze the feasibility of new solutions. We have several models of passive industrial exoskeletons to reduce fatigue and assist workers by helping them with physical tasks involving different muscles in the lower and upper body.

Deliverance Enterprises S.L. is a technology startup dedicated to the development of advanced solutions in automation, artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT), aimed at improving operational efficiency and sustainability. Participates in the POLEA Lab project providing technical collaboration for adaptation of robotics services and connectivity/intelligence in robotic elements.

5g Technology
Vodafone Spain is one of the leading convergent operators in the market, with more than 12.5 million mobile lines and 2.6 million fixed lines. Since May 31, 2024, it has been part of Zegona Communications plc, a British group specializing in the acquisition and transformation of European telecommunications operators.
Its 5G division provides companies with infrastructure and services for private 5G networks in industrial environments. It participates in the Polea Lab project alongside ITCL, contributing key basic infrastructure for the operation of the Industrial 5G Lab.

Innovative aspects
- First initiative in Spain offering free demonstration and testing of 5G Industrial solutions under private networks for companies
- The project offers the possibility of developing new free Concept Tests or proof of concept (PoC), testing and validating third-party PoCs, and performing real industrial scaling, both in 5G applications under private network, as well as in robotics/exoskeletons.
Pilot Deployments
The project is currently carrying out several feasibility studies for pilot implementations in various companies in Castilla y León, as well as scaling up of new solutions.
