Description
The demonstrator consists of quadrupedal robots equipped with technologies developed by the Technological Institute of Castile and León (ITCL) to improve production processes in the Burgos industry. These robots will perform demonstrations by navigating autonomously and/or by remote control around the ITCL stand.
During their tours, the robots will carry devices developed in the fields of robotics and artificial vision on their backs, notably visual systems capable of detecting elements on visitors or furniture at the stand. They will also carry computing mechanisms so that the quadruped knows how to interact with elements at the fair, such as following a recognized user.
In addition, quadrupedal robots will demonstrate, through on-site exhibitions, their ability to perform maneuvers and carry objects, performing tasks that involve difficult conditions and complicated terrain that other robotic platforms cannot perform, as well as transporting significantly heavy loads. Complementing this practical demonstration, an explanatory video will be shown on a screen, detailing the functionalities and operational capabilities of the robots in different contexts, such as agriculture.
ITCL Technology Center is a private, non-profit organization specializing in applied research and technological development.

Pilot Deployments
This demonstrator has been implemented in agricultural environments, where quadrupedal robots have been used for early disease detection in grape crops, enabling preventive intervention. In addition, it has also been successfully deployed in industrial contexts, especially in the infrastructure sector, where algorithms have been tested on quadrupeds to detect thermal anomalies in electrical circuits.
