Collaborative robotics associated with welding

Velentia Técnicas Industriales S.L.

Burgos, Spain

Stand 30

3rd Floor Forum Evolution Burgos. October 15 and 16, 2025

Description

The demonstrator presents a collaborative robot focused on welding operations, working safely alongside operators, improving accuracy, efficiency and flexibility in manufacturing processes. The solution combines the precision of automation with the flexibility of human-robot interaction, improving quality, efficiency and flexibility in manufacturing processes. This technology allows you to maintain consistent welding standards, reduce rework and waste, and adapt to small or medium batches with ease.

Velentia Técnicas Industriales S.L. is a company specialising in advanced industrial automation solutions, systems integration, electrical panel and cabling manufacturing, and maintenance services.

Innovative aspects

  • Collaborative robotics applied to the improvement of productivity in medium series, accessible for small and medium-sized enterprises.
  • Productive flexibility: cobots can be easily reprogrammed and adapted to different types of cords and processes (MIG/MAG, TIG, plasma, laser).
  • Occupational safety: the robot performs dangerous tasks while the operator supervises and prepares the parts.
  • Short learning curve: intuitive programming interfaces, pre-configured templates and possibility of manual guidance.
  • Advanced technological integration: Industry 4.0 connectivity, traceability of each weld through cloud registration and compatibility with MES/ERP systems.
  • Efficiency and repeatability: guarantees uniformity in the quality of the laces and optimizes resources and consumables.

Pilot Deployments

  • Tests have been carried out in real industrial environments where the cobot complements the operators, demonstrating improvements in accuracy, safety and productivity.
  • Validation of welding processes in medium series, evaluating integration with existing production flows and control systems.
  • Cloud data logging for traceability analysis and operation optimization, preparing the transition to scalable production.
