Open Call PoliRuralPlus Develop – AI, IoT, GIS or Big Data pilots to solve rural challenges

Do you have a digital solution capable of transforming rural and peri-urban areas? The European project PoliRuralPlus launches its «Develop» call, an opportunity to design, develop and implement innovative technologies that address specific challenges in nine pilot regions across Europe.

Eligible projects

• Small, applied projects based on localized digital solutions that respond to the specific challenges of each PoliRuralPlus pilot region.
• Technologies covered: AI, machine learning, IoT, GIS, Big Data, among others.
• It is encouraged to integrate internal PoliRuralPlus project tools, such as the JackDaw platform and GeoAI systems.
• Inspiration from the values of the New European Bauhaus: sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics

Eligible beneficiaries

• Legal entities individually or in consortia of up to 3 organisations (one leader) from EU countries or associated with Horizon Europe.
• No subcontracting or financial transfers to third parties are permitted.

Budget and funding

• Total budget: € 450,000.
• Funding per project: between €30,000 and €100,000; the same entity can receive up to €60,000.
• 100 % eligible cost covered.
• Disbursement in three phases:
  • 40 % at start
  • 40 % in intermediate milestones
  • 20 % at the end after deliverables
