MAGICIAN Open Call 2: Collaborative robotics and AI

MAGICIAN Open Call 2 is a MAGICIAN project call, focused on the use of robotic and AI capabilities in real production environments beyond the automotive sector.

Objectives

• Demonstrate innovative use cases integrating up to 2 MAGICIAN capabilities (e.g. defect detection or human-robot interaction) adapted to new domains.
• Drive the adoption of collaborative robotics and AI-based analytics solutions in sectors such as energy, aerospace, transportation, and others.

Who can participate

• SMEs legally established in eligible EU countries or associated with Horizon Europe.

Funding conditions

• Maximum funding per project: €200,000.
• Funding rate:
  • 70 % for SMEs in general
  • Up to 100% for startups
• Payments structured in three phases:
  • Pre-financing: up to 50% after the launch meeting.
  • Interim payment: up to 35% after milestones are reached.
  • Final payment: up to 15 % after delivery of results
