Inkjet-bioAM Open Call

Inkjet-bioAM supports European SMEs who want to develop innovative projects using inkjet printing technologies in biomedical or pharmaceutical applications.

Pilot lines/ defined technological challenges

Projects must select one of three areas:

1. Functionalization of 3D implants by inkjet printing.
2. Functionalization of biosensors for medical applications.
3. Personalization of pharmaceutical products, adapting doses or formats with inkjet printing.

Objectives

• Overcome major bottlenecks in the biomedical sector, such as: Availability of biomaterials inks, optimization of the multi-material printing process, or compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
• Demonstrate and scale the use of inkjet ink on defined challenges, driving interregional investments.
• Building an advanced manufacturing ecosystem to drive the use of this technology in health

Dirigido a:

• SMEs legally established in Europe.

Eligibility criteria

• Individual projects
• Minimum level of technological maturity (TRL) ≥ 6.

Up to €60,000 per project. 100% intensity.
