ADT4Blue Open Call 2 Digital technologies for the maritime sector and blue economy
Do you have a sustainable idea that combines advanced digital technologies such as AI, IoT, Blockchain or Big Data with the maritime sector? This call from ADT4Blue seeks proposals to accelerate the digitization of the Blue Economy.
If you are a startup, SME, entrepreneur, researcher or student in the EU or partner countries, you can receive support from ADT4Blue to develop a prototype in 6 months, also receiving training, mentoring and networking
Objectives
- Promote the use of advanced digital technologies in sectors related to the Blue Economy: fisheries, aquaculture, maritime transport, coastal tourism, marine renewable energies, etc.
- Create sustainable solutions that respond to the current challenges of the sea and coastline, aligned with the European Green Pact and the Digital Transition.
- Connect emerging talent, startups and SMEs with key entities in the maritime and port sector of the European Atlantic.
Eligible candidates
Any individual or entity in Europe may participate. Among others:
- Start-ups and SMEs
- R & D Centres
- Universities
- Entrepreneurs with disruptive ideas
- Third sector entities with innovative proposals
Funding
Although no direct grants are awarded, the selected projects will receive a full package of free support worth thousands of euros, including:
- Intensive mentoring (technical, business and access to finance)
- Customised training
- Access to events, visibility and international network
- Testing the solution in real blue economy environments
- Paid travel for the 2 bootcamps (one virtual and one face-to-face)
