CYberSynchrony – Open Call 2
The CYberSynchrony Open Call 2: Compliance & Innovation is a call for cascading funding (FSTP) within the project CYberSynchrony, co-financed by the European Union under the Digital Europe Programme. The goal is to improve regulatory compliance (especially with NIS2) and foster innovative cybersecurity solutions for critical sectors such as energy, transportation, water and manufacturing.
Main objectives
- Promote compliance with the NIS2 Directive and other European cybersecurity standards.
- Innovate in cybersecurity technologies and tools tailored to sectoral needs.
- Foster collaboration between sectors and types of actors to build stronger capacities against threats
Who can participate?
Eligible entities:
- SMEs (SME) and technology start-ups.
- Public bodies, research centres and universities.
- Individuals with expertise in cybersecurity or regulatory compliance (with demonstrable experience).
Forms of participation:
- Single participant (individual or entity).
- Consortia of up to 3 participants, always with one SME as coordinator.
Eligible countries:
- EU Member States, EEA countries and other countries participating in the Digital Europe Programme.
Funding and conditions
- Budget per project: up to € 200,000 per beneficiary (total fund shared among selected projects).
- Funding in the form of a grant with payments in three phases:
- 30 % prefinancing
- Up to 40 % after intermediate deliverables
- Balance at end of project
- Financing at 100 % (lump sum) of eligible costs.
- Estimated project duration: approximately 8 months.
