POLREC 2nd Networking Open Call for Polymer Recycling Industries

The POLREC Networking Open Call is designed for SMEs in the plastics, rubber, and composites industries, helping them to develop international strategies and expand into new markets beyond their national scope through participation in business fairs, exhibitions, and matchmaking events.

The POLREC Networking Open Call 2025 provides financial support to SMEs in the polymers & elastomers industries to attend networking events, trade fairs, and matchmaking activities related to recycling solutions (mechanical, chemical, and digitalisation of process & traceability). The aim is to help SMEs develop international strategies, establish new business connections, and expand into global markets.

Eligibility requirements

• SMEs legally established in EU Member States or Single Market Programme (SMP) associated countries.
• Engaged or planning activities in polymer/elastomer recycling or digital recycling solutions.
• Only individual SMEs can apply.

Funding details

• Up to €2,500 per SME for participation in European and overseas events.
• Funding based on event duration (e.g., €500 for a 1-day event, €2,500 for 5-day events).
• A total of 67 SMEs will be selected, with a maximum budget of €36,500.
• Payments: 100% lump sum after submission and approval of the Final Activity Report. SMEs must document at least three new contacts and attend two business meetings.
