Open Horizons Open Call #2
The Open Horizons Open Call #2 is a European call aimed at encouraging digital and deep-tech startups led by women, offering them financial support and accompaniment to develop technology pilots together with large European corporations.
Who is it addressed to
The call is intended to:
- Startups led by women, where the founder or co-founder has a managerial role (CEO, CTO…) and owns at least 25% of the company.
- Startups formed between 6 months and 6 years before the closing date of the call.
- Companies established in EU Member States or countries associated with Horizon Europe.
- Startups working in technologies such as AI, IoT, robotics, sustainability, energy, new materials, cybersecurity, among others.
- Teams able to develop a real pilot in collaboration with a European corporation and aligned with one of the 17 proposed technological challenges.
Funding
The call offers up to €55,000 per startup:
- 10,000 € for the initial Inception Stage.
- 40,000 € for the Piloting phase.
- 5,000 € extra for participation in the Demo Day.
The projects will last for a total of 6 months.
Objectives
- Accelerate the growth of women-led deep-tech startups.
- Encourage real collaboration between European start-ups and corporations through technology pilots.
- Drive innovative solutions in key areas such as industry, sustainability, digitalization and advanced technologies.
- Strengthen the female presence in the European deep-tech ecosystem and reduce the gender gap in technological entrepreneurship.
