NEPHELE 2nd Open Call
The 2nd Open Call of NEPHELE will distribute up to €880,000 among up to 8 SMEs or Mid-caps to to validate the proposed architectural approach and synergetic meta-orchestration framework implementation, based on the development of intelligent 4 orchestration mechanisms and a set of use cases provided by partners outside of the NEPHELE Consortium in various vertical industries
The main goal of NEPHELE is to design and build a virtual object software stack (VOStack) that will tackle IoT interoperability and convergence challenges in the compute continuum and develop synergetic orchestration mechanisms that can manage distributed applications in the continuum.
NEPHELE is a Research and Innovation Action project funded by the Horizon Europe programme under the topic «Future European platforms for the Edge: Meta Operating Systems».
Who can apply?
European single Industrial SMEs (including startups) and Mid-caps registered as 3 legal entities no later than 20th of October 2024
Duration and funding
The selected SMEs/Mid-caps will benefit from the 2nd Open Call in a number of ways, namely
by:
- Participating in a 6-month-long support programme
- Receiving a fixed lump sum of up to €110,000 per entity
- Receiving technical mentoring
