MAGICIAN Open Call 1: Robots for defect control in production
The MAGICIAN project takes up the challenge of producing a modular automation solution using robots to detect production defects.
The Open Call focuses on integrating new functionalities. The objective is to improve the capabilities of Robot Detector and Cleaning Robot by means of advanced technologies such as:
- Improved algorithms for defect detection
- more efficient reprocessing techniques, or
- Complementary AI modules that optimize performance in real-time production environments
The projects to be funded must have a duration of 12 months and provide a solution focusing on one of these modules:
- Perception
- Human-robot collaboration
Elegibility Criteria
MAGICIAN is targeting the following types of companies:
- Startups
- Small and Medium Sized Enterprises
Either individually or as part of a consortium (maximum of two legal entities).
Cascade Funding
Five selected projects will receive €200,000 each for the development and integration of the proposed functionalities.
