Overview
DiMAT offers a Cloud modular open source platform for design, simulation and optimization of industrial materials and processes. Combines AI, digital twins and numerical simulation to accelerate the sustainable and cost-effective development of new materials, especially for industries such as textiles, composites, glass and advanced electronics. Their solution has already been validated in sectors such as polymers, composites, technical textiles, graphite and glass by real industrial pilots.
DiMAT (Digital Intelligent Hub for Sustainable Materials) is a European project that has developed an open source, cloud-based digital platform aimed at the design, simulation and optimization of advanced materials and their manufacturing processes. Combining artificial intelligence, numerical simulation and digital twins to accelerate the development of sustainable materials, improve industrial process performance and reduce costs.

- Manufacturers of advanced materials and components: Companies interested in digitising their materials R & D (polymers, composites, glass, etc.) and improving their development cycles through AI and simulation.
- Technology centres and universities: with experience in material characterization, multi-scale modelling, simulation or manufacturing processes, which can collaborate in co-development or adaptation of specific modules.
- Industrial software or digital engineering providers: looking to integrate DiMAT modules into their commercial offering (for example, for digital twins, simulation or LCA analysis) or collaborate on technology transfer projects.
