Abstract

J. G Automotive is the representative in Spain of Nanoz Group, a French company specialized in the development of advanced gas detection nanosensors using metal oxide (Mox) technology. Both companies have collaborated to validate a system for early detection of gas leaks during battery tests BMS (Battery Management System), developed by Nanoz, by integrating artificial olfactory sensors based on AI.

The developed system goes one step further by combining these sensors with artificial intelligence algorithms capable of interpreting in real time the signals collected. This combination makes it possible not only to identify the presence of dangerous gases, but also to anticipate anomalies or leakage patterns, opening up new possibilities in the field of predictive maintenance.

This artificial smell technology mimics the human ability to perceive and distinguish smells, but it does so with much greater accuracy and speed, even in complex industrial environments.

Currently this development is looking for partners in Spain and the rest of Europe, for technical collaborations and validation in new applications.

Nanoz is a highly innovative company specialized in the development of nano-sensors that offer high selectivity and sensitivity for gas detection, with significantly lower energy consumption. Their technology is patented.

These sensors are based on Mox (metal oxide) technology and integrate the world’s smallest nano-chip in its category, with dimensions of just 1.15 mm x 1.15 mm x 0.45 mm.
