NebulOuS Open Call 2 Hyper-distributed application pilots in cloud computing
The second call seeks innovative pilot projects that support the mission of the NebulOuS Meta OS platform to demonstrate that it can adapt to different scenarios, other than those already envisaged
Type of projects to be financed
The call is aimed at pilot projects to validate extended components of the NebulOuS Meta-OS platform through new use cases, focusing on the integration of IoT infrastructures to Edge to Cloud.
Proposals should demonstrate the applicability of the platform in various areas, including, but not limited to, cloud computing, edge computing, IoT, digital twins and green and digital transformation initiatives.
Who can participate?
- SMEs as individual applicants, or as part of a consortium of up to 2 entities.
- Applicants must be legally established in the EU
Specific themes or challenges:
- Workflow application: Projects that demonstrate workflow orchestration with at least three parallel instances.
- IoT Application: Near real-time analysis of geographically distributed sensors, using the IoT data processing pipeline.
- Serverless application: The proposals focused on serverless functions compatible with Knative.
- Open challenge: innovative use cases that explore new areas of validation for the NebulOuS framework, with a preference for Digital Twin solutions.
Duration of the programme
The programme lasts for seven months and is divided into three phases: planning, development and validation.
Funding
100% of the eligible costs will be financed.
Up to €150,000 per project.
Payments will be divided into 3 tranches: pre-financing of 20% (30,000 euros), 40% (60,000 euros) in the mid-term review and 40% (60,000 euros) in the final review based on results and milestones.
