Webinar: Unveiling the potential of Digital Twin in the manufacturing industry – Change2Twin and DIGITBrain

ICT Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs (I4MS) is an initiative promoted by the European Commission to expand the digital innovation of manufacturing SMEs in Europe. Within I4MS Change2Twin and DIGITBrain are the projects supporting manufacturing SMEs in the uptake of digital twins technology.

A digital twin is a digital replica of an artefact, process or service that is so accurate that it can be used as the basis for making decisions.

During the webinar, participants will be introduced to key concepts on the use of digital twins and get first-hand information about the funding opportunities and support offered by these two projects.

DIGITbrain is an EU innovation program to give SMEs easy access to digital twins. Using a Digital Twin, companies can rationalise the manufacturing process, make predictions regarding expected machine failures and can predict maintenance needs.

Change2Twin (DIHBU is a member of this network as a service provider) offers manufacturers a tailor-made solution and funding for the deployment of a digital twin. The funding covers the assessment of their digitalization potential, individual mentoring and design & deployment of the digital twin.
