UTTER Open Call 2: Unified transcription/translation models for Extended Reality
The UTTER project invites research centers and SMEs to submit project proposals to develop or test models and applications for Extended Reality (XR) that facilitate human-human and human-machine interaction.
The selected proposals will receive up to €60,000 each and the projects will have a duration of 6 months.
Objetives
Develop and/or pilot applications using XR models in new sectors, focusing on enabling new types of human-human and human-machine interaction.
Examples:
- Improve or demonstrate XR model inference efficiency
- Improve or demonstrate the efficiency of XR model training
- Design interfaces for usability
- Extending XR models to new languages, domains or modalities
- Apply XR models to new tasks
- Creating resources for XR models
- Evaluating XR models
Elegibility
- entities from countries eligible for Horizon Europe
- Only one entity per project (consortiums are not allowed)
- Only one proposal per applicant will be considered
Funding and payments
Selected projects will receive a lump sum in two payments:
- 50 % after signature of the contract
- 50 % after demonstration and dissemination of results
