TALOS 2024 Open Call: Robotics / AI-based solutions for Photovoltaic Plants

If you’re working on robotics, AI, and data technologies and aim to enhance innovative operations and maintenance in photovoltaic (PV) plants, this is your chance. The Open Call is available to entities providing solutions that address the challenges defined for the TALOS Pilots, including:

  • BVLOS aerial inspections
  • Fire detection systems
  • Autonomous detection of defects in underwater and underground high-voltage cables
  • Prevention of algae growth and biofouling
  • AI-driven microclimate monitoring for agricultural PV
  • Inspection and maintenance of platform anchorages and mooring lines.

Who can apply

Startups and SMEs based in EU Member States or Associated Countries

Funding

  • Startups can receive up to €200,000, covering 100% of their eligible costs.
  • SMEs that are not startups can receive up to €140,000, covering 70% of their eligible costs, with 30% required as self-funding.
