SoTecIn Factory Open Call 2 for Social Innovators
SoTecIn Factory has a 3.3 Million EUR fund available to support tech-driven, social innovations ventures (individuals or organisations) in food, water & nutrients, textiles and plastics & packaging industry value chains.
The second round of Open Calls for Social Innovators seeks to support mission-driven social innovation ventures in leading industries toward low-carbon and circular economy transition through sustainable solutions by using higher R circular strategies (Refuse, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Refurbish and Remanufacture techniques).
The Open Call 2 will award 25 European social innovators with up to 15,000 EUR for their ideas as solutions to circular challenges in the context of the specific project Mission (either a concrete problem proposed by the applicant or selected from one of the circular challenges coming directly from industry). From this group, 15 innovators will engage in a pre-market technological demonstration with additional funding support of up to 85,000 EUR.
Besides the equity-free funding up to 100,000 EUR to the beneficiaries to receive additional support in training, mentoring, peer-to-peer engagement and pilot development.
