ARISE Open Call 1

ARISE aims towards making industrial HRI more accessible, cheaper and easier to adapt, in particular in healthcare, intralogistics and manufacturing.

In the first Open Call, ARISE will fund up to 13 projects for HRI-enabled solutions for industrial robotics automation and fund up to EUR 200,000 that will be distributed to each one of the selected projects, based upon the successful delivery of technical and business reports along the 12-months Support Program.

In this Open Call applicants will apply as consortia composed of maximum 2 entities: End-users and Technology Providers. These entities should act together to submit their projects. 

OBJETIVES

  1. Open Robotics Middleware by empowering European industry with a robust-real-time enabled open source middleware.
  2. Trustworthy HRI Framework by developing the human-centric framework and methodology for trustworthy industrial HRI.
  3. Best-in-class HRI use cases by deploying and maintaining Testing and Experimentation Facilities, providing best practice examples.
  4. Flagship FSTP experiments by engaging with European supplier SMEs, Start-ups and end-users to support adaptation and refine.
  5. Open HRI toolbox by providing an open library of reliable open-source-based AI modules with off-the-shelf artificial skills for industrial HRI.
  6. Long-lasting ecosystem by providing a sustainable European reference ecosystem supporting open innovation in industrial robotics.
