The event brings together today European DIHs, regional authorities, as well as representatives of European institutions, to exchange views on the role of industrial robotics in manufacturing in Europe.

Ali Muhammad, coordinator of the DIH² network, welcoming the participants.

Attendees will exchange success from the various Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) participating in DIH² network. They will also discuss upcoming European funding opportunities in the field of robotics, and explore possible collaborations for future projects.

The DIH² project is funded by Horizon 2020, and involves numerous collaborating DIHs for the provision of support services linked to industrial robotics projects, DIHBU being one of them, representing the European digital innovation center DIGIS3.

Panel on network success stories.

Lidia Gómez, a project technician from DIHBU, went to Brussels to present the capabilities and interests of the Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0, in terms of services related to industrial robotics, as a member of DIGIS3 and also as a participant in European projects related to technical training in these technologies, such as EAGLE.

Lidia Gómez, DIHBU project technician, making her presentation pitch.

The objective of the network is to generate innovation that maximizes productivity and optimizes agile production in SMEs and manufacturing Midcaps in the European Union, and to improve the cost-effectiveness of advanced robotic solutions and drive growth in the robotics market.
