The DIHBU Association -Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0- and the Burgos City Council have officially presented at a press conference the 2nd edition of the “Burgos Industry 4.0 Technology Meeting” to be held on 25 and 26 October at the Palacio de Congresos Fórum Evolución in Burgos.

The Meeting, promoted by Digital Innovation Hub Industry 4.0 and Promueve Burgos, will consist of two distinct parts, which will be offered simultaneously: the Exhibition of Technology Demonstrators linked to Industry 4.0, and the Industrial Track 4.0 Technical Conferences (third edition), with topics related to trends and best practices in industrial digitisation and explanation of real use cases.

The event was presented by Vicente Marañón, president of Promueve Burgos and deputy mayor of Burgos; Mario Pampliega, president of DIHBU, and Belén Lanuza, general manager of DIHBU, who highlighted during the launch the importance of the co-organisation with Promueve Burgos in this edition and the additional support of DIGIS3, European Centre for Digital Innovation.  

The Meeting is a national event where the best innovative solutions applied for advanced manufacturing will be presented. It also aims to publicise the industrial applications of these key technologies for the development of Industry 4.0 and the existing support resources, to promote the generation of new industrial digitalisation projects, with a special focus on industrial SMEs.

The Industry 4.0 Technology Demonstrators Exhibition, meanwhile, will feature a total of 41 Technology Demonstrators, located in 38 spaces, which will showcase innovative solutions that have already been tested and which visitors will be able to try out. There will also be several information points, focused on providing information on additional resources available to companies.

Finally, the Industrial Track 4.0 Technical Conferences, now in their third edition, will focus on real use cases of the application of technologies linked to Industry 4.0, with the participation of knowledge centres, advanced engineering companies and host industry. Trends and best practices will also be presented, as well as examples of available resources for the success of the projects.  The conference will feature top-level speakers and will also include round table debates. 

This second edition of the Burgos Industry 4.0 Technological Meeting has the special collaboration of Kaudal and the Junta de Castilla y León (Consejería de Economía y Hacienda – Dirección General de Industria y Competitividad), as well as other collaborations of sponsors with presence in Burgos.
