Abstract
Grasp Spain presents a case study on the use of High Performance Computing (HPC) to leverage massive data from Earth observation satellites in environmental monitoring. An optimized workflow was developed capable of transforming large volumes of images into high-value information, simultaneously generating key indicators of air quality and surface properties. Thanks to parallel processing architectures, analysis times were reduced from weeks to hours, enabling large-scale monitoring with higher resolution and frequency.
